C J Taylor, Poet, Artist, and Composer.

| His works are in famous private
collections worldwide. A professional artist since the age of
14 he studied at Liverpool college of art and has worked on
location in India, Israel, USA, China, Japan, Australia, New
Zealand, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Brazil, Madeira, and the United
Kingdom. He painted the wildlife of South Africa. Amongst his
exhibited portraits of famous contempories are HM the Queen,
HRH prince of Wales, Sir Winston Churchill, Mahatma Ghandi,
Margaret Thatcher, John F Kennedy, Charlie Chaplin, Russell
Harty, John Osborne, Sir John Betjeman and numerous others. |
| Highland Arts Exhibition shows
his work, which is open to visitors located upon Seil Isle,
opposite picturesque Easdale Island with the beautiful mountains
of Mull and Iona's sacred Isle in the distance. The nearest
town to Seil Isle is Oban, by ancient reputation long known
as the Queen of the Western Isles, Oban is a fascinating town,
justifiably proud of its record of extending genuine highland
hospitality to visitors old and new. Oban is unique, quaint
well furnished with shops, restaurants, hotels, theatres, a
cinema and has modern leisure facilities. |
| From Oban's piers delightful
sailing is daily enjoyed by visitors. From Oban special excursion
coaches leave every day to C. John's Seil Isle Exhibition (new
open-top tour now operating). Enjoy the 16 road miles from Oban
to the Exhibition (AA route B844) The journey passes historic
Loch Feochan, Loch Seil, Over the famous bridge which crosses
the Atlantic Ocean and so on to Seil Isle. Then follows three
miles of panoramic views until finally nestling beside the ocean
at the head of a centuries old slate built highland village
